Tim joined the firm in 1985 having prior experience with Coutts & Company. He took responsibility for research and stock selection in the UK in 1992 after building a successful track record in the resource markets. Tim has managed Equity Income, Emerging Market and Balanced Portfolios. He became Co-Chief Investment Officer in April 2009.

Tim received his B.Sc., Financial Economics, from the University of London.
